SOCIAL INNOVATION EDUCATION: INTERVIEW

In 2014 at the University with a team of students I built the pilot project "Week of Links". It is a vacation academy for freshmen in which they find innovative and newest ideas about ecological, economical and social sustainability. We developed a week with workshops, speeches, lectures and a cultural program. Together we worked to bring topics close to our heart more into our societies and inspire students to create the working lives they wish to have. With being courageous and free to choose what we really want to do we believe that we can achieve both- reaching great aims for the globe and our personal professional lives. We received a lot of cooperation e.g. from the University administration, ministries, foundations and the Weltethos Institut in Tübingen. Lina Greger, Taiga Brahm and Michael Wihlenda of the World Citizen School which is part of the Weltethos Institut research on the topic "Social Innovation Education". Their book of the same name is a pioneer work for social entrepreneurship and they work for social progress next to the strong focus on technological innovation in our world. For their book I gave them an interview about our week as a demo project. Wish u a lot of fun and inspiration. :) Unfortunately I don't have a translation. If u are interested, please drop me a line. I'm happy to hear from u.
